Testimonials

We at SilverlightShow very much appreciate any feedback received by the readers, our webinar attendees, trainees, representatives and partners. Exactly this feedback has helped us become a portal that brings exactly the information Silverlight and Windows Phone 7 professionals worldwide need. (or so we hope!)

Please feel free to share with us (editorial at silverlightshow dot net) your experience and impressions with our website content, with the training and webinar events we organize, with our ebooks. We'll be glad to publish your notes and recommendations in this Testimonial section, together with a live link to your website or blog (if you provide such).

Peter did a great job presenting the material. His explanations were thorough and the code demonstrated the topic. It was great to see "live coding" (and have it explained!) rather than just copying and pasting snippets that were previously written.

Kevin McKusker (regarding the XNA Training delivered by Peter Kuhn and CompletIT)

I would like to express my thanks to Peter Kuhn from CompletIT and Silverlight Show (which includes Svetla Stoycheva for the presentation) in teaching the XNA for Windows Phone 7.

Anyone with basic C# programming can easily follow his tutorials step by step, and a lot of useful topics were covered including, building basic game elements like sprites, sound, and game screen, game animation, collision detection, and game monetisation. All this was covered in a timely manner, and his schedule management was excellent.

I would recommend anyone wishing to learn XNA gaming to view his webinars, they are easy to understand, and all code samples are useful. Thanks once again!

Wow... get some great in-your-hands training on WP7 development from András Velvárt... I bought my copy, and it's more than worth the $4.99 price... great job András and SilverlightShow!

Taking the WP7 70-599 exam was a bit tricky due to there being no set material. But @silverlightshow has a good guide on what to learn, which I followed myself.
