Andy Beaulieu has data visualization with physics and his project contains demo and source code that can be downloaded.

Data Visualization is a hot topic right now, and understandably so. It seems that a diverse amount of data is being collected for every aspect of human life, and RIA technology is being used to create new ways of interpreting and using that data.

    1. Introduction

Animations allow you to create truly dynamic user interface. They are a core part of the Silverlight/WPF model. The most natural way to create them is to create them declaratively (in the XAML), configure them, and put them into action without writing a single line of C# code or using timers. At first glance, I thought that the property-focused nature of Silverlight animations seems terrible limiting. However, in the process of work I found out that it’s surprisingly capable.

Pete Brown has an article in which he describes how to import and export custom toolboxes in Visual Studio 2008.

    Pete:
The issue is, I use multiple machines, and also do multiple demos. I typically build my demos on my desktop (big screens, powerful proc etc.) and then demo on my laptop. How can I share the toolbox between them and back up toolboxes for use later? Marc Schweigert came to the rescue and told me how to do it. It’s pretty simple, but make sure you back up your old settings first, as the new ones will pave your toolbox.

Jon Davis has posted a sample solution that includes a set of projects which illustrate the use of EntitySpaces with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) , which is a technology featureset that arrived when Microsoft .NET 3.0 was released.

    Jon:
This demo is based on .NET 3.5 / Visual Studio 2008. It does not delve into WCF education or theory; it is only a "getting started" sample application that demonstrates how EntitySpaces objects can be used in a WCF architecture. This is a lightweight sample that does not demonstrate more complex scenarios, such as working with data objects with one-to-many relationships.
