If you are annoyed by the really big length of some URLs, then you should definitely check the article of Azret Botash in which he shows one very good solution. There are some public services that deal with the problem (for example http://TinyURL.com), but they cannot be used by most companies. So Azaret decided to create that amazing implementation of a URL Shrinker and now it’s avaible for download.

In the Silverlight SDK blog there is a reference to a paper which describes the Silverlight features that are most relevant to people who create, serve, and track advertisements. So if you are interested in using Silverlight for advertising this post will give you some very useful clues.

Karl Shifflett set up a WPF & Silverlight Line of Business UI Design Pattern Home Page that will contain all articles, references and links to M-V-VM on his blog. The first published article of the series is called “Input Validation - UI Exceptions & Model Validation Errors”. Its purpose is to explain the necessity for monitoring binding exceptions caught in the UI that the data model would not be aware of.

In Delay’s blog you can find ChartBuilder sample and source code updated for Charting's December 08 release. Learn which are the improvements of the new ChartBuilder and use that better version in your own projects.

Kevin Dockx created a "Scale-out-from-Sender"-popup animation. Here the popup starts on the center of the button you click and scales out to the destination you want it to appear. That’s a really great effect and it’s not so difficult to achieve it. You may download the source code and play with this cute animation.
