David Betz has written an article about setting a Silverlight 2 startup breakpoint using WinDBG. Here David explains how you can set a break point very early in the Silverlight load process, before your application even loads.  This technique will give you a glimpse into the internals of Silverlight to see how things work.  It will also help you to step through your method calls from the very beginning in WinDBG.

Tim Heuer has a post about the InitParams in Silverlight Live Streaming services. Initialization parameters are an awesome and easy way to create and re-use Silverlight applications that are parameter driven. In the article Tim shows two methods for Silverlight Streaming services and he hopes that they will help you understand the initParams relationship better with the SLS hosted model.

Nitya from Silverlight SDK team has a little post in which he presents one tool for Silverlight Animation called SoThink Quicker. You can use SoThink Quicker to create animations that can be played on the Silverlight platform or to create games, internet applications, user interfaces etc.

Terence Tsang has made another great example for Silverlight and Flash. It is called “Color Fill Toy”. Terence says that it was no problem for him to do this feature in Flash, but doing it in Silverlight was a real challenge for him. That’s why he just implemented a simple version for the Silverlight.

Jesse Liberty has another improvement in the navigation of his blog. It is based on the following conception: when he adds a message that builds on a previous message, even obliquely, he will add a backward pointer to the top of the new message and a forward pointer to the end of the old message.

Laurence Moroney has posted about a few new Silverlight Apps from the friends in the Netherlands that are definitely worth checking out. The first one is Monteverdi.tv, a portal for classical music events, built in PHP, but which delivers Silverlight. On second place comes Volleybal.tv, which is a Dutch Volleyball site that covers Men ('Heren'), Women ('Dames') and Beach Volleyball. And the last one is a Microsoft Hardware website.
