In this post, I am going to show you step by step on how to make a tile flip animation using Silverlight, Expression Blend 4 and XAML. This animation can be used in WPF, Silverlight, and Silverlight for Windows Phone 7. I created this animation for a Windows Phone 7 silverlight game I am currently working on, though this animation can be applied to other scenarios as well. This tutorial assumes a basic understanding of Expression Blend 4 and XAML coding.
