Windows 8 Metro is a topic broadly covered at SilverlightShow. With 3 Windows 8 article series currently in progress (Windows 8 Metro by Andrea Boschin, Windows 8 and the future of XAML by Gill Cleeren, and Windows 8 Metro Apps: The 8 Must-Know Tricks by Samidip Basu) and several Windows 8 webinars already delivered (watch the recordings at the Webinars page), we are aiming to prepare you to meet the challenges of developing for Windows 8.

But, do you have all your questions answered? Is there a Windows 8 topic you still haven't seen discussed?

This webinar comes to meet your needs! In a total of 60-70 minutes, Silverlight MVP Gill Cleeren will answer the top Windows 8 Metro questions (approx 10-15, depending on broadness of questions) asked by the webinar attendees.

Questions may be submitted via the webinar registration form until August 22nd. The final list of questions to be covered will be announced until August 31st.

About the presenter:
Gill Cleeren is Microsoft Regional Director (www.theregion.com), MVP ASP.NET, INETA speaker bureau member and Silverlight Insider.

He lives in Belgium where he works as .NET architect at Ordina. Passionate about .NET, he’s always playing with the newest bits. In his role as Regional Director, Gill has given many sessions, webcasts and trainings on new as well as existing technologies, such as Silverlight, ASP.NET and WPF at conferences including TechDays Belgium, DevDays Netherlands, NDC Norway, SQL Server Saturday Switzerland, Spring Conference UK, etc. He’s also the author of many articles in various developer magazines and organizes the yearly Community Day event in Belgium.

    I have two scenarios if you can handle them in next session:

    1. How to handle fonts in metro apps. If any special fonts used, how to package them and deploy them?

    2. Some concept similar to master pages in metro apps with C#/XAML.
