I received several mails over the last week with an interest in what was happening with Linux. Well, timely enough Miguel de Icaza just posted an update on his blog to discuss the current efforts there.

People often ask me if we are true to supporting the Moonlight effort. The answer is yes and Miguel and team have been doing great work. We have been heads down with Silverlight 2 and as Miguel points out with the plethora of controls we have enabled, the Moonlight project can finally utilize those controls to build Silverlight RIA's or desklets (Silverlight apps that run in standalone mode).
